I Can't See!!!
Life and accounts have felt a little bit like a rollercoaster ride the past month, hasn’t it?
I was putting in my contacts the other day and had the most powerful thought.
I can be fearful with where things are and concerned about what’s ahead
OR
I can focus on the most profound truth. My life is so much easier than so many of those who have gone before me. I can simply pop in contacts. And my contacts help me see clearly. If I lived 100-or more years ago I don’t know that I would even be able to read anything, not a book, a recipe, a song. How different my life would be if I couldn’t read? And who would help me? Who I would to depend upon? But I just pop in contacts and viola!
Isn’t that incredible?
Yes, I have concerns about the future
BUT
In some ways I have it the easiest than those before me and my ancestors all got through everything that they had to go through.
I am given the gift to look at my life and all the opportunities of living at THIS precise time and place in this precise body with these two beautiful ocean blue (and without contacts) ,blurry eyes.
